Coaching dive with Tim Porter

28th August 1999

Target Skysports, Hibaldstow

Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, Target Skysports, Hibaldstow, held a Freefly Boogie. Tim Porter and Chris Gauge were on-hand (Sven Zimmerman was unwell) to offer coaching...at no charge!!! It wasn't even necessary to pay their slot! I took advantage of this and had a fantastic time. Tim and Chris must have done about 40 loads each over the three days!

Exiting the Dornier G-92 As Snuffy would say, 'Gimme sum tung!'
Okay, you can let go now! I'm falling!
Safety is utmost. First altitude check. Oops! Might not be upright, but it's stable!
Try again... That's better...
Okay, let's try a turn 90°
180° 270° - more of a slouch than a sit
Now go the other way Is that a flap I see lifting?
Hmm, nice pin! Good job my closing loop is _tight_ That is illogical captain?
Does my bum look big in this? 5 grand...time to leave
Throw-out
