Much like side-ins, the student should be able to turn in-place without change in relative height, except that more faith in ones ability is required since eye-contact cannot be maintained throughout the manouevre.
On the slower turns there is a bit of orbiting but the principle is adaquately demonstrated ;-) Pete was kind enough to video my deployment on this dive (as I'd never seen it before), hence the higher quality AVI, and ended up landing out as a result. Thanks Pete, it is much appreciated! |
